I’m just going to put it out there… I hate Valentine’s Day. Who decided that February 14th of every year would be the required day to show your love for someone? Was this done by some man who wanted to get out of having to show affection throughout the year, or a woman who decided there was nothing else going on in February and she wanted some big present?
If you love someone shouldn’t you show them how you feel everyday and not just one day a year? And wouldn’t you rather be shown in small ways throughout the year how much you mean to someone instead of some expensive gift one day a year then nothing until the next year?
So, that’s my Valentine’s Day rant… If you love someone, show them every day. Love is not about a big public display on February 14th.
