What can I say to sum up Kristen Ferrell? Simply put, this chic is awesome! She is an artist, a clothing designer, a mom and the wife of a musician. It seems to me that being just one of these things could drive a person barreling past the brink of insanity, but Kristen finds away to get through it all and all the while entertaining us with her blog and artistic ventures. For all these reasons my choice for My Generation – Favorite Artist is Kristen Ferrell.She is opinionated, compassionate and unapologetic, not to mention an amazing artist. Her artwork is a reflection of so many things all bursting off the page into a visual carnival. Ferrell finds a way to melt normal people and animals into creatures that are funny, grotesque and adorable all at the same time.
Her work portrays relatable topics and feelings through unconventional methods, which is why I find her work so appealing and why I feel she is continually gaining notoriety as a truly original artist. Kristen’s art has been featured in several galleries both in the U.S. and Europe as well as several of her works being forever immortalized through her fans’ tattoos.
