I need help! M is letting me do some painting and other work around the house in exchange for a break on the rent. I'm going to redo the living room and I need help with some ideas.
Our couch is an almost army green microfiber. The walls are currently a bright eggshellish yellow. He for sure wants an accent wall. I'm not sure if I should just repaint the entire room or just add an accent wall. And I have no idea what goes with these colors!
Our entire house is painted that yellow so I need something that will still mesh with it, but that will look cool and modern like he likes.

Hi there. Well, it looks like you have windows opposite from wehre the couch is, correct? AS it stands you can afford to go with a slightly richer color on the wall beind the couch. As far as the color, I would perhaps go with a complimentary color to the couch. It may require going with a completely different color for the rest of the walls. I'd start by going to a lowes or home depot to get color cards and even the booklets they have for ideas. Feel free to ask me any questions.
Thanks! He was thinking the accent on the long wall with the windows but I think that would close the room in too much.
